I’ve previously worked as a Product Manager and an Industrial Designer.
In these roles, I developed a strong foundation in design thinking, strategic problem-solving, and hands-on execution.
Below, you’ll find a selection of my work across UX Design, Product Management, and Industrial Design.
Educating and motivating the community to stop littering and drive long term change for the Cooks River.
As part of General Assembly UX Immersive course, we engaged a Canoe Club who had been funded by the local council due to their continuous commitment to river clean up events and volunteer work. The club owners wanted to understand how best to utilise their funding to get the most out of it.

Motivating people to act in a way that is kind to the environment by starting with a very small habit.
This was a concept project work for General Assembly UX Immersive course where we explored possible ways to educate and motivate the public to act more kindly to the environment. We broken down what sustainability meant to people, why they currently aren’t being kind to the environment and a simple way to point people in the right way supported by an app.

Uber Carshare’s member verification process evolved over ten years, adding checks as new issues arose. This led to long processing times and a complex system requiring extensive agent training, averaging two months.
After rebranding from Car Next Door in August 2022, incidents of theft, damage, late returns, arrears, and speeding spiked, worsening with our expansion to the U.S. and Canada in September 2023.
This project aimed to revamp the verification process to improve its effectiveness and efficiency.

Verification Overhaul
After Uber acquired Car Next Door in January 2022, they planned to launch Uber Carshare in the US and Canada by mid 2023.
Car Next Door was an Australian start up and the whole platform was built to cater for the Australian landscape, this meant that international expansion required us to look at upgrading the system to allow for multiple regions. This included currency, units of measurements, spelling, maps, addresses, timezone, fuel type, tax implications, payment types, methods, date format, member’s agreement, vehicle brand, types, make, and much more.

Uber Carshare’s International Expansion
Prior to Uber acquisition, Car Next Door did not have a Sanctions screening policy. When Uber acquired the business, this became a compliance requirement, especially with the goal of launching into the US and Canada. Uber has an existing team specialising in Sanctions screening and had a system in place, but since Carshare’s platform was still existing as a separate entity, our job was to connect the two together so that every member on the Carshare platform could be screened before any payments are made to them.

Paul, founder of Hameland approach us in early 2021 and asked if we could design 100% recyclable furniture using Reboard, an engineered paper board with a fluted core.
I worked closely with Paul to come up with 5 different styles with various side panels. This almost year-long project required many revisions to make the furniture pieces economically efficient while maintaining his design aesthetics which were drawn from his Scottish heritage.

A start-up eyewear company Dresden Vision, makes affordable prescription eyewear created from recycled materials. They wanted to deliver a new experience in Australia for how people bought glasses.
Their idea was to make a mobile caravan store that would bring the product to their customers in a unique way that drove interest and exposure.
Dresden wanted to work with us because we specialised in the product Reboard, a 100% recyclable engineered paper board. With sustainability at its core, Reboard was the perfect material to manufacture the furniture in the Dresden mobile store.

In 2019 we were approached by The Make Haus who had acquired a new account, Sephora for their Beauty Beats Press day event.
Initially, we produced some simple signboards and benches made from Reboard, a 100% recyclable engineered paper board. They were quite impressed with how light and easy it was to install compared to medium density fiberboard which is what they had been using.
The Make Haus soon realised the full potential of the material. Since then, we have worked closely together on four Sephora Beauty Beats events which have all been majority Reboard and recycled.

Our brief for this Telstra Air Wifi Network launch was to produce 3 sets of flat pack furniture which could be erected by Jack Morton staff simultaneously in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane on the morning of the launch.
We were able to fit each event onto a single pallet with instructions on how each furniture piece was assembled together.
This project was a success and became the first of many eco events produced with Jack Morton.

This media event for Johnson’s baby was designed to showcase brand new products to Media and influencers.
Since the mood of the brand was gentle, caring products for babies, we were asked to make it using recyclable material.
We installed working basins into the cardboard countertops for attendees to sample the products.
Having everything be able to flat pack was also a major factor in winning this project as it reduced installation time and kept the cost down.

We were approached by the Design Team agency that had acquired a mobile launch for OPPO. The event was to be held on Seadesk, a hand-crafted European Superyacht.
One of the challenges Design Team had was how to carry these big elements onto the yacht for the event.
Making these units using Reboard, a recyclable paper board instead of medium density fibreboard allowed us to reduce the estimated weight from 880kg to 140kg and have all the sections flat-packed for ease of transport.

An experience agency UDKU approached us with a unique brief, to create a 4 sided pop up that has cutouts and overhangs in some of the walls while being able to maintain heavy touch screen monitors as well as iPad, headphones and plants.
The entire popup is manufactured using 100% recyclable Reboard.
I designed the walls in two sections to allow cables to run through with ribs running vertically and horizontally to ensure the walls were strong enough to accommodate the AV elements.

East Village wanted to create a backdrop for various events they were having in their shopping centre. They had asked the backdrop to be curved but also be sustainable.
We achieved this by cutting the 100% recyclable Reboard with many vertical partial cuts, a technique where the knife cuts the panel 2-3mm off the front face, leaving it in tacked.
We also coated the whole wall with a special laminate which allowed markers to adhere to the walls easily.

With the launch of Taylor Swift branded Instax cameras, event agency Gentified brought us a brief to create a popup box to promote the camera in Bondi Westfield.
The structure seems quite simple at a glance but creating this structure out of 100% recyclable paper board Reboard was a bit of a challenge which involved creating a cavity for lighting cables, structural integrity and cutout window display with LED lights.
